The guys played solid tennis today. The wind was definitely a factor again today as it was blowing from baseline to baseline. You had to make an adjustment at every change over.

The guys played well in singles today, only dropping 10 games. Corey and Jeremy hung in there at No. 3 doubles, winning the last three games to pull out the win.

The guys stayed focused at the end of a long week. Several members of the team participated in the blood drive, and I wasn't sure how that might affect them.

His foot had been bleeding profusely the entire time.

I'm very proud of the effort the guys gave today. We only had six players; five were on a chorus trip to New York and another went to prom. Those (available) six really stepped it up a notch.

The wind made it very tough to play in spite of the warm day.

This was a very competitive tennis match despite the 7-2 score. We gave Southern a run for their money; we just couldn't pull out the doubles.

We did a very good job in doubles today. Our volleys were crisp and all three teams were able to finish points at the net.

I think it helped that our top four guys played for me last year. That makes a difference.
